
ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State junior guard Audrey Richmond was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics on Wednesday afternoon.
Richmond adds this to a long list of accolades this season. She was named Second Team All-Sooner Athletic Conference, joined the 1000-Point Club as well as being named an NAIA-Daktronics Scholar Athlete.
The junior needed a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average and junior academic status to qualify for that honor.
Richmond averaged 13.6 points per game and scored a season-high 22 points twice and in consecutives games (vs. Oklahoma Baptist 12-1, vs. St. Gregory's 12-3).
The Cherokee native led the Lady Rangers to a 13-15 season which culminated with a trip to the SAC Tournament in Siloam Springs, Ark. where the Lady Rangers fell to Lubbock Christian, which lost in the national semifinal to eventual national champion Oklahoma City.
