Andrew Brown, head basketball coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, recently announced the signing of Eze Akwari of Houston, Texas. Akwari will enter as a freshman for the 2009-10 Ranger basketball season.

CASPER, Wyo. – The Ranger men’s and women’s rodeo team had an outstanding showing at the 61st College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming, while the men’s team took 7th place out of 57 qualifying teams and the women finished in 13th out of 29 qualifying teams.

CASPER, Wyo. – After two rounds at the 61st Annual College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming at the Casper Events Center, the Northwestern Oklahoma State University men’s rodeo team stands as the team leader, while the Ranger women are in 15th.

“We have had a banner day,” remarked coach Tim Kolb, talking about his team’s results after day two. “I am extremely proud of these kids. Dreams do come true, we’ll wait and see what is in store for us the rest of the finals.”

ALVA, Okla. – Six cowboys and four cowgirls from Northwestern Oklahoma State University began competition in the 61^st Annual Central National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming at the Casper Events Center on Sunday, June 14.
