    CLAY THOMAS NAMED CONFERENCE PITCHER OF THE WEEKNorthwestern Oklahoma State pitcher Clay Thomas was named the inaugural Sooner Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week, as he was named so for February 1-7.

    Thomas, a junior right-hander from Arlington, Texas, tossed a one-hit shutout in the Rangers’ season opener against Dallas Christian. He registered seven strikeouts and two walks in six innings, while the Rangers defeated the Crusaders 7-0.

Currently, Barton carries a 400-343 overall record as the Lady Rangers head coach.
