goalkeeper for Northwestern. She earned all-district and all-state honors
while playing at Woodward High School.

Garland, Texas
Spann will play a big part
in this years team success in a Ranger uniform. Her ability and strength
will make her a vital member of the Lady Ranger roster.

Houston, Texas
Garza returns to Northwestern after
playing in 18 games last year and establishing herself on the field as a
reliable player. She has the technical skill and speed that is a mainstay
for the team.

Lawton, Oklahoma
As co-captain, Lamar brings proven
leadership the the field. She is a technically sound player who reads the
game well and is difficult to beat.

Megan Arnold
Freshman - Midfielder/Forward
Claremore, Oklahoma
Arnold was a four year letter winner at
Claremore High School served as co-captain in 2002. She also was part of
the 2000 and 2002 district champion teams and was selected as
valedictorian of her class.

Tulsa, Oklahoma
Foster, a standout at Owasso High
School, was voted Ms. Hustle in 2001 and 2002, where she was selected as
team captain. Her ability on the field will make an immediate impact on
the team.

Junior - Forward
Chula Vista, California
As one of the team’s co-captains,
Crabbe returns to competitive play after being redshirted last year. She
is a powerful forward and is a hard worker with a good shot for goal.

Freshman - Midfielder
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Welker played prep soccer at East
Central where she was named 2002 MVP and earned all-state and all-district
honors.

Kelli Ross
Sophomore - Defender/Midfielder
Mooreland, Oklahoma
Thought to be the most improved player
returning to the Rangers’ roster, Ross will be a valuable asset at the
defender position. She played in 16 matches last year.

Alva, Oklahoma
A proven forward, Smith will offer the
ability to attack the ball with speed that will add depth to the Lady
Rangers’ roster. She also has a great work ethic that will aid the team
during the season.

Freshman - Midfielder
Aztec, New Mexico
As a freshman, Woods
offers the ability to become part of the attack as she can play with
either foot. Her explosive quickness is a threat to opponents.

22 - Sherina Wood
Freshman - Forward
Ponca City, Oklahoma
Wood comes to Northwestern from Ponca
City High School. She has the ability to score and will create challenges
for opponents. She has played soccer year round for six years, including
one year with the state Olympic development team.

Junior - Defender
Noble, Oklahoma
Cory transferred to Northwestern from
Northern Oklahoma College where she was a part of the 2000 all-conference
team. She returns to college competition after spending a year playing
indoor soccer and coaching in the Norman area.

Freshman - Defender
Woodward, Oklahoma
Edwards a member of the 1998 and 1999
district champions was selected as senior captain in 2002. Edwards will
redshirt this year.

Senior - Defender/Midfielder
Eldridge, Iowa
An outstanding player in the 2001,
Power will redshirt this season. In 2001 she scored three goals and aided
with one assist.
