Returning outfielder with soft nice hands at the plate… Has excellent speed around the bases … One of three seniors and will be one of the team’s leaders...Hit .300 last year with 7 of 8 stolen base attempts.

Successful soccer player for the Rangers…Her great speed will be fully utilized… Her knowledge of the game will help her in getting time on the field…Will spend time in the outfield rotation...Will also spend time as a designated player.

Semester transfer from Missouri Southern University…Will give the Rangers an immediate boost at third base…Debbie will be the all important two hole hitter…Has soft hands, a nice glove, and an above average arm.

Naturally talented player from softball-rich California…Will see time pitching, on the infield, and at the designated player spot...Has all the tools to be a big time player, but work ethic is the key.

Two year returnee...Will also help the rotation in the outfield…Has a good pop in her bat and a good arm…Also a good team player.

Semester transfer last season from Seminole Junior College…Will move from left to center field this season…Batted .347 last season with an on base percentage of .466…Will lead off for the Rangers…Can play the short game with bunts and slaps, but can also play the long game at the plate…Has excellent speed on the base and a good arm.

Big recruit for the Rangers…Was one of the top pitchers out of New Mexico last season...Will immediately be in the starting rotation against the tough SAC competition...Will also see some time at the plate being a strong hitter...Could be a premier player in the SAC.

Debbie Geisler - Pitcher

Had a 10-8 season in 2001, with a 2.0 ERA...Red-shirt last year, she will be in the starting rotation this season…Her experience will be important in helping the new young pitchers succeed.

Falynn Burns - First Base

Junior     Farmington, New Mexico

Was a two time All-Conference Player and Freshman Newcomer of the Year in 2001... Led the SAC in many offensive categories throughout last season…Had a .355 batting average and a .525 slugging percentage including 5 homeruns...Another player from a storied program out of Farmington, New Mexico…Has a chance to be the first Ranger All-American softball player.

Stacy Noyes - Shortstop

Transfer from Western New Mexico State...Will step right into the shortstop position…Great hands, quick release, along with a good arm will be key in the infield...Has all the tools to play the toughest spot on the infield.
