Aquino to speak Oct. 7 for Hispanic Heritage month program

As part of Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Dr. Felix J. Aquino will be speaking at 1 p.m. on Oct. 7.

Those interested in attending will be able to see Aquino on the Alva campus in the Education Center, room 209; Woodward, room 114; and Enid, room 221.

The event is free and open to the public.

Aquino is the vice president for academic affairs at Oklahoma City Community College where he also is a professor of modern languages.

Discussion topics will include Migration Theory, Demographics and the Future of American Higher Education.

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.
