    April 22, 2013 -- The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association will recognize four Outstanding Graduates during the annual Spring Reunion Banquet on Saturday, April 27 at 6 p.m. The honored alumni include: Diane Kasparek-Spicer, class of 1978 and 1983, Outstanding Education Award; Joe Shirley, class of 1970 and 1978, Outstanding Business/Professional Award; Karen Sue Liese Myers, class of 1968, Outstanding Humanitarian Award; and Adam M. Steuart, class of 2007, Outstanding Arts Award.

    March 13, 2013 -- The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association will recognize four Outstanding Graduates during the annual Spring Reunion Banquet on Saturday, April 27 at 6 p.m.

  • Northwestern to induct 2013 Sports Hall of Fame class; Induction set for Feb. 9

    January 28, 2013 -- The 2013 Northwestern Oklahoma State University Sports Hall of Fame class will be honored at a luncheon in the Student Center Ballroom at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, and formally inducted during halftime of the men’s basketball game vs. Arkansas Tech University that afternoon in Percefull Fieldhouse. Past inductees will be recognized during halftime of the women’s game, which is scheduled to tip off at 2 p.m. with the men’s game to follow at approximately 4 p.m.

  • Northwestern Foundation and Alumni Association launch site redesign

    February 4, 201 -- The Northwestern Foundation and Alumni Association recently launched its redesigned website, www.nwfoundation.com. A mobile version of the site can be accessed on visitors’ tablets and smartphones.

  • Northwestern Sports Hall of Fame inductees announced

    January 10, 2013 -- Four former Northwestern Oklahoma State University athletes will be inducted as the 21st class of the Northwestern Sports Hall of Fame Saturday, Feb. 9. The 2013 inductees include Lynette (Clark) Brown, women’s basketball; Patrick Crayton, football; Daryl Richardson, football; and Stephani (Bontrager) Yunker, women’s basketball.

  • Tour Argentina, Chile with the Northwestern Alumni Association; Register by May 24

    December 20, 2012 -- The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association invites alumni and friends of the university to travel south to Argentina and Chile in September.

  • Northwestern Alumni Association to host Boot Hill Bowl Reunion

    August 28, 2012 -- The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association is welcoming back members of the Boot Hill Bowl team for a weekend reunion and recognition during the Rangers’ football home opener Saturday, Sept. 8. The 1971 Ranger football team won more games than any previous team fielded by Northwestern and earned the school’s first post-season bowl game invitation to the Boot Hill Bowl.

  • Northwestern Alumni Association to host Holler Back Breakfast

    August 16, 2012 -- Northwestern Oklahoma State University students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate the start of the fall semester at the Holler Back Breakfast Monday, Aug. 20, outside the Student Center on the Alva campus. The Northwestern Foundation and Alumni Association staff will begin serving free doughnuts and coffee at 7:45 a.m.

  • Greater Woodward Northwestern Alumni to play host to Jazz on the Patio

    April 26, 2012 – Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni and friends are invited to an evening of live music Thursday, May 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the patio of the Woodward Conference Center. Hosted by members of the Greater Woodward NWOSU Alumni Task Force, Jazz on the Patio is an opportunity for alumni and friends to reconnect while enjoying wine, cheese and the sounds of Max Ridgway and T.Z.

  • Applications accepted for Outstanding Senior Award

    February 22, 2012 – Qualifying Northwestern Oklahoma State University graduating seniors are invited to apply for the Outstanding Senior Award by the March 9 deadline. To be eligible, students must be a December 2011 or expected May 2012 graduate with a minimum of 60 hours completed at Northwestern. Applicants must have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher and must not have been subject to academic or disciplinary action.

    November 7, 2011 - The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association invites alumni and friends of the university on an unforgettable trip to Northern Italy and the Italian Alps.  Lizabeth Richey, Northwestern Alumni Association director, is leading the nine-day tour July 9 through July 17, which includes Florence, Pisa, Venice, Lake Como, the Italian Alps and Milan.

    Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni and friends are invited to wear school colors to A Red Tie Affair on the campus of Northwestern Woodward Tuesday, March 8. The Greater Woodward Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Task Force will host a reception for alumni and friends in the LaVern Phillips Executive Conference Room at 6:45 p.m. before attendees enjoy a special 7:30 p.m. performance by the University Singers and University Chorale.

The OKC Roundball Roundup will be held at Rococo Restaurant and Fine Wine at 7 p.m. and will wrap up prior to the game’s 9:45 p.m. tipoff at Abe Lemmons Arena.

    The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association invites Ranger alumni and fans to a free tailgate party prior to the kickoff of the Northwestern football game vs. Southern Nazarene University Oct. 9. The tailgate begins at 5 p.m. in the SNU Football Stadium north parking lot, and the Rangers take on the Crimson Storm at 6 p.m.

Dunkin, Jack E. Kippenberger and Jane Hobbs McDermott.

  • Experience Alaska with the Northwestern Alumni Association

    The deadline to register for the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association’s Alaskan cruise is approaching on Jan. 29. Lizabeth Richey, alumni director, is leading the eight-day tour June 18 through June 25, which includes Alaskan port stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Icy Straight Point/Glacier Bay National Park.

    The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association will host a pre-game reception for all Tulsa area alumni and friends when Northwestern visits the Oral Roberts University Golden Eagles on Monday, Nov. 16. The reception will be held in the Falls Lounge inside the Hilton Tulsa Southern Hills.
  • 'Hoop It Up with the Rangers' scheduled in Enid Nov. 3

    Northwestern Oklahoma State University Ranger sports fans are in for a treat. The Northwestern Ranger Men’s basketball team is opening up their basketball season against the College of the Ozarks inside the Mabee Center on the Enid Campus of Northern Oklahoma College November 3rd. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The event is hosted by the Greater Enid Northwestern Alumni Task Force.
  • Alumni Tailgate scheduled for Oct. 31 at Southern Nazarene game

    A free tailgate party has been scheduled by the Alumni Association at the football game against Southern Nazarene University. The tailgate will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, in the parking lot located at the north end of SNU Football Stadium. Anyone attending the game is welcome to free hot dogs grilled by the Rowdy Rangers.

    The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association will host two reunions for alumni on Friday, Oct. 23.
