  • Northwestern Foundation Scholarship Drive underway

    February 13, 2013 -- An annual tradition encouraging the Alva community to invest in the students of Northwestern Oklahoma State University kicked off Wednesday. During the Northwestern Foundation’s Scholarship Drive, off-campus teams of two and on-campus captains representing each building raise funds to finance continuing student scholarships at Northwestern through the Millennium Club scholarship endowment.

  • Four Northwestern students win scholarship contest

    November 28,  -- This spring, four Northwestern Oklahoma State University students will receive scholarship assistance after participating in Scholarships Matter, a creative contest sponsored by the Northwestern Foundation. To enter the contest, students had to create and submit a video answering the question “What does being a Ranger mean to you?”

  • Northwestern endowment plaques now on display

    Bronze plaques identifying 16 Northwestern Oklahoma State University endowed chairs, professorships and lectureships and recognizing their donors are now on permanent display at the university’s Alva campus. Endowed chair plaques are located in Herod Hall, just inside the north entrance, and endowed professorship and lectureship plaques can be found on the first floor of the Fine Arts Building.

  • Anonymous donor endows theatre scholarship at Northwestern; Matching challenge issued

    An anonymous donor has contributed $50,000 to the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Foundation to establish the Linda J. Stewart and Kimberly K. Weast Theatre Scholar Award and is issuing a challenge for the gift to be matched.
