Acacia, Delta Zeta join forces to raise money, collect food

November 25, 2008

  Food Drive group
Members of Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Acacia Fraternity and Delta Zeta Sorority recently set up tables at Alva’s Market and Walmart to raise money and accept food items during their Thanksgiving Food Drive. The groups raised more than $300 and collected a couple of boxes of non-perishable food items that were delivered to the Northwest Family Services office Tuesday afternoon. Representing the Greek organizations for the food drop-off are freshmen Acacia members (from left) Chris Vassar of Ponca City, Brian File of Alva and Adam Burnett of Conway Springs, Kan. Ginger Smith accepted the items on behalf of Northwest Family Services.
