Jim Hood is a 1948 NWOSU graduate who currently maintains his own science education museum in St. John, Kansas.  While at NWOSU, he was an active member of Chi Beta Nu (music fraternity), the Ranger Male Quartet, the a cappella Choir, the Baptist Student Union and Sigma Tau Gamma (fraternity).  All of these accomplishments took place after he'd served in WWII, earning distinguished honors.  For nearly 40 years, Jim was a high school mathematics and science teacher.  Jim's father and uncle also attended NWOSU while the institution was officially designated as a normal school.

Andy Rundquist is a member of the physics department at Hamline University.  He is the founder of the Global Physics Department and an authority on the usage and implementation of Standards Based Grading in the physics community.  He is an active user of social media for professional networking and a pioneer in facilitating access to HS/University colleagues as resources for educators around the globe.
