Northwestern Alumni Association Release
Members of the community and surrounding area are invited to join Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni and friends to sample tasty treats and purchase and order items for holiday gatherings and gifts at “A Taste of Northwestern Oklahoma” on Tuesday Nov. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m.
For the event, Northwestern's Enid campus commons area will transform into a marketplace featuring products and catering services of northwest Oklahoma. Some of the participating vendors are Wagon Creek Creamery, From The Woods, Pampered Chef, KD’s Café, Essential Oils & Young Living, Sister’s Cupboard Catering, Foundations Farm, Okie Joe’s Nuthouse, Mike Klemme, Rowdy Stickhorse Wild Acres, Junior Welfare League, Country Cakes & Garden’s Edge, Student Oklahoma Education Association, deVine Water and Over the Fence Farms.
The vendors are from northwest Oklahoma communities including Enid, Fairview, Waukomis, Helena, Alva, Covington and Hennessey. A variety of products will be offered such as cheese, yogurt, BBQ and hickory sauces, baked goods, bread and dip mixes, all-natural granola, fresh-ground flour, nuts, candy, catering services, bottled water, cookbooks, and cooking products.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
The Northwestern Enid campus is located at 2929 East Randolph (the corner of 30th and Randolph). The come and go event is hosted by the Greater Enid Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Task Force, which includes Brooke Aldridge, Eldon Ames, Bill Baker, Lori Coonrod, Bonnie Espinoza, Dr. Cheryl Evans, Delena Hardaway, Larry Kiner, John Martin, Lizabeth Richey, Daron Rudy and Dennis Wilson.
