Dear Prospective
Student:
I am excited to
report that Northwestern has implemented a $3,000
out-of-state tuition waiver for freshman/transfer students
during their first year. Also, a non-resident tuition
waiver based on GPA will take effect the second year. An OFFICIAL TOEFL score of 500 and above (paper based), 173 and above
(computer based) or 61 (internet based) must be submitted as a portion of your
application. If you have
not taken the TOEFL exam, please list the date you plan to
take it. Northwestern does not admit students without
the TOEFL.
Northwestern
must have a completed application
form, high school transcript in English,
financial guarantee,
statement of
understanding, and an OFFICIAL TOEFL score from ETS to
complete the admission process. After being accepted
to Northwestern, international students must have a
$6,000.00 deposit in Northwestern's bank account for proof
of financial ability to pay for the first semester's
expenses.
Northwestern has implemented tuition
waivers and scholarships to
help reduce the cost of non-resident tuition.
When these requirements have
been met, Northwestern will send an I-20 for travel
arrangements.
As an
International student at NWOSU, you are required to have a
TB skin test at the Student Health Center, which is open
while classes are in session. The completion of this
test is necessary for enrollment.
In mailing your
application, write your return address on the outside of the
envelope. If possible, type all returns in English, as
this will speed up your admissions process.
Again, thank you
for your interest in NWOSU. We hope you choose our
University to further your education.
