On Friday, Sept. 11, the Oklahoma Army National Guard and Northwestern Oklahoma State University Guard Officer Leadership Development (GOLD) program will play host to a memorial ceremony at 8:15 a.m., in Herod Hall Auditorium to honor not only the victims of 9/11, but the soldiers who are or have served during this current crisis.

Many Northwestern Oklahoma State University fans may see a car covered in Northwestern insignia driving around the state, as Army National Guard officers from the Guard Officer Leadership Development (GOLD) program at Northwestern are using it as a marketing tool for the university and the GOLD program.
