Enrollment for the spring semester at Northwestern Oklahoma State University rose nearly 6 percent from a year ago, according to figures in a preliminary enrollment report presented to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

Full parking lots, a high demand for dormitory rooms and a general uptick in campus activity led Northwestern Oklahoma State University officials to believe that enrollment numbers for fall semester classes would be positive.   They were right – very right.

Enrollment for the fall semester at Northwestern is at its highest level since 1971 with a large class of first-time freshmen leading the way.

The increase in enrollment experienced at Northwestern Oklahoma State University during the fall semester of 2008 has carried over to the current spring semester, according to figures in a preliminary enrollment report presented to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
