Dr. Sue Diel

Dr. Sue Diel received her doctorate in Educational Administration from Oklahoma State University. She earned her bachelor's degree in English Education and her master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Dr. Diel began her education career teaching English and being a high school counselor in several different public schools in Oklahoma. She has received certification from the State Board of Education in these areas: Superintendent, Elementary and Secondary Principal, School Counselor, Library Science, English and all English related areas. After teaching in the Education department at NWOSU 13 years, Dr. Diel was NCATE Accreditation Coordinator and Professor for Friends University in Wichita. Sue is extremely happy to be back home in Alva, which is near to where she was raised in Burlington, Oklahoma. "I have a passion for learning, for teaching others, and for the educational system in general. It is my goal to provide the best education possible for our teacher candidates."
