  • Cunningham awarded Kate Barnard Award by State Commission

    March 3, 2015--Dr. Janet Cunningham, president of Northwestern Oklahoma State University, was presented with the Kate Barnard Award from the Oklahoma Commission for the Status of Women (OCSW) at a recent luncheon in Oklahoma City.      

  • 12th annual NWOSU Art Society Art Show March 8-27

    March 3, 2015 -- The 12th annual Northwestern Oklahoma State University Art Society (NAS) Art Show opens Sunday in the J.W. Martin Library in Alva and is open through March 27. The show is free and open to the public during the library’s normal operating hours.

  • University Singers prepare for trip to New York with concerts in Woodward and Alva

    March 2, 2015--Students in the University Singers, Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s premier choral ensemble, will be performing their New York City Kick-Off Concert on Thursday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodward Arts Theatre and Jessie Adams Cultural Centre, 818 Main Street, and Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at the Alva First United Methodist Church, 516 Church Street.

  • Creative Reading Series presents: Ranger Readings

    March 2, 2015--The Northwestern Oklahoma State University English Department brings the second of its four-month Creative Reading Series to the Graceful Arts Gallery this Friday for the First Friday Art Walk.  This month’s theme is titled “Ranger Readings” and will feature the creative works of five Northwestern students.
