  • Northwestern playing host to continuing education seminar for counselors

    The Northwest Oklahoma Counseling Association (NOCA) is offering a continuing education (CE) seminar Thursday, April 9, from 1-4:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ranger Room on the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alva campus. The three hour seminar is approved for ethics CE for those licensed as a professional counselor (LPC) and marriage and family counselors (LMFT) and those licensed as alcohol and drug counselors (LADC).

  • Paintings, photo win top honors in campus art show; winning pieces move downtown for First Friday April 3

    March 31, 2015--A watercolor painting, a landscape photograph and an acrylic painting won the top honors in the 12th annual Northwestern Oklahoma State University Art Society (NAS) Art Show. All of the winning pieces will now move downtown for a special one day only show during the First Friday Art Walk on April 3.

  • High school seniors are invited to Freshman Connection April 15

    March 31, 2015--One day each year is designated for incoming freshmen to enroll for classes at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Freshman Connection allows these students the chance to have first dibs at fall classes and will be held at the Alva campus on Wednesday, April 15, with a morning and afternoon session to accommodate student schedules.        

  • One day mini cheer camp April 18 at Northwestern-Enid

    March 31, 2015 -- A one day mini cheer camp for ages Pre-K through eighth grade will take place Saturday, April 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Enid campus. Registration will begin at 9:15 a.m., and the cost is $15 per person.
