The Northwestern Oklahoma State University soccer team fell 3-0 to its third consecutive NCAA Division II opponent, this time being Eastern New Mexico University on Sunday at the Alva Rec. Complex.
The Rangers’ shots were scarce, being outshot 34-4. ENMU took 17 shots in both half, while the Rangers shot twice in each half. Micah Mairs got off two shots for the Rangers, landing one on goal, while Nicole Leffingwell and Kayla Meloni took the other two shots on the afternoon.
Eastern New Mexico scored its first goal during the 21st minute and added two more in the second half.
Kelsey Archer picked up 20 saves, as the Zias took 34 total shots, 23 being on goal.
The Rangers will next match up with Bethany College on Thursday, September 24 in Lindsborg, Kan. at 6 p.m.
