STILLWATER, Okla. – Kevin Strawn and Taylor Clark led Northwestern’s cross country teams in the 74th Annual Cowboy Jamboree ran in Stillwater on September 25.
In the eight kilometer men’s race, Strawn led the Ranger men with a time of 29:08 for a 119th place finish. William Navarro and Chaunce Carrico finished four seconds apart, with times of 34:03 and 34:07, putting them in 190th and 191st, respectively.
Clark paced five Lady Rangers in the five kilometer run, taking 71st place with a 21:02. Krystle Noda ran a 22:11 for 116th, while Shannon Rose finished 136th with a time of 22:52. Shelby Ashcraft recorded a 25:25 for 164th place and Desirae Guffy was 177th with a 26:41. Allison Fischer rounded out the Ranger women with a 30:13 for 186th.
Both Northwestern’s cross country teams will next compete at the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational in Shawnee on October 9.
