WINFIELD, Kan. – The Ranger golf team finished in third place in the two-day South Central Kansas Fall Invitational, as Northwestern recorded a 655 stroke total that was 45 shots off back of host school and champion Southwestern College (Kan.).
Benjamyn Eastes paced the Rangers with an 84-77—161 and finished in a tie for 14th. Bryant Briggs and Jay Lee tied for 20th as they both shot a 165. Briggs finished with an 84-81, while Lee carded an 82-83—165. Chad Piper rounded out the scores for Northwestern with an 87-79—166.
Northwestern will next head to the Evangel University Fall Invitational on Sept. 27-28 at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Mo.
