Northwestern Oklahoma State University running back/returner, Nate Guillory, was named the Central States Football League Offensive Player of the Week after the Rangers’ 48-14 loss to NCAA Division I-AA University of South Dakota.
The 5-8, 187-pound native of Houston, Tex., averaged 30 yards per kickoff return, including an 85-yard return for a touchdown against South Dakota to give the Rangers an early 7-6 lead.
Northwestern opens its home portion of the schedule and will begin Central States Football League play on Saturday, Sept. 25 in a 3 p.m. homecoming game against Texas College at Ranger Field.
