EDMOND, Okla. - The University of Texas-Brownsville snuck by Northwestern Oklahoma State, 2-1, as all three goals in the match were scored during the second half. The two teams met at a neutral site, playing at Oklahoma Christian University.

Neither team could net a goal in the first half, as 13 shots were fired. The Rangers shot seven times while UTB got off six shots.

Texas-Brownsville scored quickly after the second half began, with a goal in the 47th minute. The Rangers responded a minute later, as Nicolle Davis scored her first goal of the season, knotting the game at 1-1, as Taylor Marsh was credited with the assist.

Texas-Brownsville added the game-winning goal at the 56th minute and held of the Ranger offense for the win.

The Rangers got off two second half shots, while UTB shot 11 times.
