McPHERSON, Kan. – Northwestern’s women’s golf team won the Central Christian Fall Invitational, played at the par 70, 5,775 yard Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson, Kan., as they shot a 701 team total.
Northwestern held a 55 stroke lead on Central Christian to hold the lead after the first round and dominated the tournament with a 115 stoke lead for the tournament.
Amanda Dixon took the individual title with a 76-77—153 and was followed by Cari Hall’s 83-88—171, putting her in second place. Hope Conneywerdy carded a 92-96—188 for fifth place, while Jacey Ford finished in sixth with a 90-99—189. Madison Howard rounded out the Lady Rangers with a 101-105—206 for an eight place finish.
The Rangers will head to Winfield, Kan. on Sept. 20-21 for the South Central Kansas Fall Invitational played at the Winfield Country Club.
