McPHERSON, Kan. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State men’s golf team placed sixth out of 12 teams on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at the Central Christian Invitational played at Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson, Kan. The Rangers combined for a two-day total of 611, shooting 296 on Monday and a 315 on Tuesday on the par 70, 6,322 yard course.
Chad Piper led the Rangers with a 73-77-150 and tied for 11th at the event. Bryant Briggs shot a 73-78-151 to be in a tie for 15th, while Benjamyn Eastes carded a 72-82-154. Individually, Kefner Fisher finished 36th with a 78-81-159 as Jay Lee shot 81-79-160, which tied him for 37th.
The Rangers next tournament will be at the South Central Kansas Fall Invitational at
Winfield Country Club in Winfield, Kan. on Sept. 20-21.
