FIRST ANNUAL RANGER KICKOFF BAR-B-QUE SET FOR AUGUST 21Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Ranger football team will host its First Annual Ranger Kickoff Bar-B-Que on Saturday, August 21 at 7 p.m.

Northwestern alumnus and owner of Beau’s Wine Bin in Oklahoma City, Stan and Mary Stack, will be sponsoring this event. The dinner will consist of all you can eat complete with all the fixings and festivities.

The Bar-B-Que will be hosted by Greg and Tina Baker and held at their state of the art barn, located at 30029 CR 440 in Alva. To get to the barn, head north out of Alva to the Alva Golf and Country Club and continue west past the course until the road dead ends.

“The event will offer opportunity to meet the coaching staff, get some inside scoop on what to expect from the 2010 edition of Ranger football, share stories of season’s gone by, and treat your taste buds to some of the best ribs this side of the Red River,” remarked head football coach Keith Barefield.

Cost for the Bar-B-Que will be $50 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance and space is limited to the first 200 people. All proceeds will benefit Ranger Football.
