KESLEY PONTIUS SIGNS ON WITH RANGER RODEO TEAM

The pre-veterinarian major is pictured with her mother Karen Pontius (left) and Northwestern’s rodeo coach Tim Kolb (back).Northwestern Oklahoma State University is pleased to announce that Kesley Pontius of Watsontown, Pa., has signed her national letter of intent to be a part of the Ranger rodeo team beginning in the fall.

“Kesley is the type of student-athlete we continually strive to get,” said Tim Kolb, head rodeo coach.  “She’s an excellent student, as well as an exceptional rodeo athlete.”

Pontius will participate in barrel racing, goat tying, team roping and breakaway roping.

“I feel Kesley will make an immediate positive impact on our rodeo team success,” Kolb said.
