Northwestern Oklahoma State University women’s golfer Cari Hall has been named a 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Golf Scholar-Athlete by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Hall, a junior from Broken Arrow, was one of 86 student-athletes to be selected for the honor. A student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify for the award.
“Cari works very hard on her academics and understands the value of the degree she is working towards at Northwestern,” stated head coach Shawna Bivin. “It is great to see a student-athlete like Cari succeed not only on the golf course, but also in the classroom. I am very proud of her and I will be expecting more of these in the future from our other student-athletes.”
