OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Northwestern baseball team has been paired against second seed Oklahoma City University in the 2010 Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament. The Rangers and Stars, the NAIA’s seventh-ranked team, will meet up at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 10, in the second game of the tournament at Jim Wade Stadium on the campus of Oklahoma City University.
The fifth-seeded Rangers and Stars follow No. 1 seeded Lubbock Christian vs. sixth-seeded Rogers State, which will play at 10 a.m. Third-seeded Wayland Baptist takes on fourth-seed Southern Nazarene at 4 p.m.
A Ranger victory will put Northwestern in a 1 p.m. game on Tuesday, while a loss will result in a 7 p.m. game on Monday evening.
Northwestern finished the regular season with a 33-20 overall record and was 16-14 in Sooner Athletic Conference games.
