HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Ranger women’s golf team took four of the top five places while the team won the Sterling College Warrior Invitational Tournament played at the Highlands Golf Club in Hutchinson, Kan.
Northwestern downed its nearest competitor by 95 strokes, winning the tournament with a 767. Ottawa University came in second in the tournament with an 862 and Colby Community College turned in a team score of 939.
Stephanie Martin finished in second place with an 89-95—184. She was followed by Cari Hall and Emilee Beard who finished in third and fourth place with a 96-94—190 and a 99-97—196, respectively. Ida Arvidsson finished a stroke behind Beard, shooting a 99-98—197. Brittany Meridith turned in a 105-100—205.
The Ranger women will finish the season out at the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament at the River Oaks Golf Club in Edmond on April 26-27.
