BASEBALL, HOT DOGS AND APPLE PIE TAKE NORTHWESTERN TO ENID

On Tuesday, April 6, Northwestern Oklahoma State University will take on East Central University in a nine-inning baseball matchup at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid.  The 2010 Ranger team includes Enid High School graduates junior Clint Dodds and junior Richard Burdick.

The 5:30 p.m. game is part of Northwestern’s fifth annual Enid-area alumni spring event, Baseball, Hot Dogs & Apple Pie.    The Rowdy Rangers will begin serving hot dogs and apple pie at 5:00 p.m. 

Throughout the evening, Northwestern baseball alumni will be recognized, including Bob Jakubek, Dale Swiggett, Ron Painton, Steve Painton, Donnie Newman, Hadley Hintergardt, Scott Pendleton, Terry Bolin, Larry Coonrod, Landon Waugh and Ryan Hintergardt, who plan to attend.  Hadley Hintergardt, baseball alumnus class of 1970, will throw the first pitch, and Cali Crissup, Miss Northwestern, will sing the National Anthem.
