CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State University women’s golf team closed out the 2010-11 golf season with a sixth place finish at the Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Rogers State University at the par 72, 6,082-yard Heritage Hills Golf Course in Claremore.
Amanda Dixon and Cari Hall tied for 16th, both carding a 172 in the two-day tournament. Dixon shot 88-84, while Hall shot the reverse, 84-88. Hope Conneywerdy finished in a tie for 27th with a 94-96—190, while Stephanie Martin was two strokes back in 29th place with a 95-97—192. Jacey Ford rounded out Northwestern’s scoring with a 112-97—209.
Lubbock Christian moved from third place after the first round to winning the team title with a 653 total.
