Northwestern Oklahoma State University pitcher Garry Thomas was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for April 12-18.

Thomas, a junior from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, limited Rogers State University to an unearned run on three hits in a 6-1 victory against the Hillcats on Saturday, April 17. He struck out 11 batters while improving his record on the mound to 6-1. Thomas currently leads the Rangers with 57 strikeouts on the season.
