The Northwestern men’s and women’s cross country teams will be hosting two clinics in the upcoming weeks. On Saturday, April 16, they will have a running clinic followed by a nutrition clinic on Saturday, April 23. The clinics will begin at 10 a.m. and run until 11 a.m.
“These two clinics are going to be a lot of fun for people of all ages,” remarked head cross country coach Shane Hansen. “The sport of running has numerous benefits and we look forward to the opportunity to share some of these with the community.”
Clinic topics will include: benefits of running, proper technique, injury prevention and recovery, healthy eating habits, lifetime fitness, and more.
Both clinics will take place west of the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Wellness Center in the grass area. There will be no admission charge and all ages are welcome. Water will be provided for all participants.
