Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s seniors Brandon Brown and Brandon Dixon were honored by the Sooner Athletic Conference being named to the all-conference teams.
Dixon, a forward from Oxnard, Calif., was selected as second-team all-conference. He led Northwestern in scoring (16.9 points per game), points (491) and rebounds (7.8 per game), while posting 11 double-doubles. Dixon was the only Ranger to start in all 29 games.
Brown, who ranks third in Ranger basketball scoring history with 1,488 points, was named third-team all-conference. The four-year starter was named to the SAC all-conference team the past three years. A guard from Houston, Brown averaged 14.3 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game. He hit 30 three-pointers, ranking him second on the team.
