Northwestern Oklahoma State University men’s basketball forward Orren Tims has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 31-Feb. 6. The honor is the second he has received this season, with his first Player of the Week coming for his play over the week of Dec. 6-12.
The 6-5 senior from Ruston, La., scored 25 points and had three rebounds and three assists in a 95-89 win over Mid-America Christian University at Percefull Fieldhouse in Alva on Saturday night.
Tims is ranked No. 12 in the NAIA in points with 426 and ranks second in the Sooner Athletic Conference with a 18.52 points per game average.
