Lady Rangers Struggle Against No. 2 Oklahoma CityOKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Ranger women’s basketball team dropped a 99-43 road game to No. 2 Oklahoma City University at Abe Lemons Arena during a Monday night makeup game in Oklahoma City.

The No. 2 Stars shot 51 percent on the night and held Northwestern to 28 percent from the field. Northwestern converted on 5-of-19 three-pointers and was 6-of-7 on free throws. Turnovers plagued the Rangers, as they were guilty of 30 on the night. 

Audrey Richmond was the high scorer with nine points, while Renee Golliday and Autumn Klugh both had eight points each.

Oklahoma City scored 28 points off of free throws due to 26 Northwestern fouls. Five players found double figures for the Stars, as Starr Fairbanks led all scorers with 20 points.

Northwestern (10-15, 6-14) closes its home portion of the schedule with a 6 p.m. game against Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday, Feb. 24.
