SHAWNEE, Okla. – On Thursday, the Lady Rangers suffered a 73-48 loss to fourth-ranked Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee.
Oklahoma Baptist shot 44 percent, while holding Northwestern to 25 percent from the field. Northwestern was down 10 points at half, trailing 38-28. OBU held the Lady Rangers to just 20 points in the second half, as NWOSU shot 15 percent from the field in the final half.
Autumn Klugh hit three of the team’s six three-pointers while scoring a team-high 13 points. Keindra Scott chipped in seven points and picked up 10 rebounds, as Audrey Richmond and Rachel Wilczek added six points each.
Oklahoma Baptist had four players in double figures. Taujhnae Travis led the Lady Bison with 16 points.
Northwestern (11-15, 5-13) hosts St. Gregory’s on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. The Lady Rangers and Lady Bison will meet at Percefull Fieldhouse on Monday, Feb. 22 for a make-up game.
