Ranger Soccer Ends Season With Loss to USAO

ALVA – The Ranger soccer team ended its season at the Alva Rec. Complex on Tuesday afternoon in the regular season finale in a 3-0 loss to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

All three goals in the match were scored in the first half by the Drovers.

The Rangers shot 11 times, with Taylor Marsh attempting seven shots. Brianne Brown got off two shots and Kayla Meloni and Christina Nunez each shot once.

USAO shot 23 times, while Kelsey Archer was credited with 13 saves.

Northwestern finished the season at 6-12 overall and at 3-8 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. The Rangers will lose three seniors; Archer, Nunez and Lee Gunn.
