SHAWNEE, Okla. – Northwestern’s women’s cross country team finished in 11th place at the Bison Invitational in Shawnee on Saturday, while three men competed as individuals.
The Rangers had a combined time of 2:08:23, while Pittsburg State University (Kan.) won the event with a time of 1:33:02.
Krystle Noda led the Ranger women runners with a 42nd finish with a 21:23. Shannon Rose finished nearly a minute back of Noda, with a 22:21 that put her in 56th. Shelby Ashcraft was 78th with a 24:41, while Desirae Guffy and Allison Fischer were 89th and 90th with a 29:07 and 30:51, respectively.
In the men’s race, Jordan Sanders finished in 75th with a 29:54, Chaunce Carrico was 89th with a 32:57 and Rabi Tamraker had a 42:20 for 102nd.
The cross country team will next be in action in El Dorado, Kan. on Oct. 22 for the Ollie Isom Classic at 4 p.m.
