The Ranger soccer team finished its home portion of their schedule on Tuesday night, falling 6-0 in Sooner Athletic Conference action against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
Northwestern got off just three shots in the game, including one in the first half and two in the second. Micah Mairs had the only shot on goal, while Christina Nunez took the other two shots for the Rangers.
USAO was dominating in the game, shooting 35 times and landing 19 on goal. Calli Cooper had a hat trick for the Drovers, as three other players scored for USAO.
In goalkeeper Dana Gandolfo’s last home game as a Ranger, she recorded 13 saves on the night, with 10 coming in the later half.
Northwestern (1-14, 1-7) will finish the season out with two road games. On Saturday, they will play John Brown (Ark.) in Siloam Springs, Ark. at 2 p.m. and then head to Claremore to match up with Rogers State on November 3.
