BETHANY, Okla. – The Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene shot 58 percent on its way defeating the Northwestern men in Bethany by a 22-point margin, 82-60.
The Rangers scored 30 points both halves and were 38 percent from the floor on the night. Southern Nazarene took a 44-30 lead into the second half and upped it as they boosted their shooting percentage from 57 percent to just over 59 percent in the second half.
Three of Northwestern’s players hit the double figure mark. Marshall Bell led the way with 12 points, as Daryl Glover and Brandon Brown followed with 10 points each. The Rangers finished 6-of-20 from three and hit 10-of-14 free throws.
Northwestern (8-6, 3-4) heads to Bethany on Saturday, Jan. 9 for an 8 p.m. game with Southern Nazarene University.
