SHAWNEE, Okla. – Catrell Currie tied his season best of six three pointers on his way to 22 points, as the Rangers shot 50 percent to down the Cavaliers of St. Gregory’s, 79-63 in Shawnee on Saturday night.
After holding a 36-30 lead at the break, Northwestern out scored St. Gregory’s by 10 points while shooting 63 percent from the field and made 7-of-11 three pointers.
Currie led all scorers with 22 points, while Brandon Dixon was right behind, scoring 21 points as he was 9-of-14 from the field. Termaine Snyder added 15 points and Cameron Davis finished with nine points.
The Rangers held St. Gregory’s to 38 percent. Josh Coulter paced the Cavs with 21 points.
Northwestern’s men will host Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday, Feb. 3 for a 8 p.m. game at Percefull Fieldhouse.
