SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – John Brown (Ark.) completed the two-game sweep of Northwestern on Thursday night, as the Lady Golden Eagles defeated the Lady Rangers 51-32 on the road.
Northwestern was held to 17 and 15 points during the two halves and shot a dismal 25 percent. The Lady Rangers were unable to connect on a three-pointer in 12 attempts.
Audrey Richmond was the only Lady Ranger to find double digits, leading the way for Northwestern with 10 points. Renee Golliday and Claudia Vazquez both had six points each.
John Brown shot 33 percent and buried eight treys, while Jordyn Ferrell led the Lady Golden Eagles with 14 points.
Northwestern (8-10, 4-9) takes on Rogers State University on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at Percefull Fieldhouse.
