Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s golf coach, Shawna Bivin, has announced the recent signing of Kayla Peters of Mooreland for the 2011-12 season. 

Peters held a pair of first place finishes as a junior, winning individual honors at Mooreland and Woodward during the 2010 season. She aided the Bearcats to a first place in the regional qualifier and to the third place team in state. As a sophomore, she helped Mooreland to a regional championship and to a state runner up finish. 

“Kayla will be a great addition to our program,” state Bivin. “She is a hard worker both in the classroom and on the golf course.”
