Northwestern Jumps Four Spots to No. 21 in NAIA Poll

Northwestern Jumps Four Spots to No. 21 in NAIA PollThe Northwestern men’s basketball team jumped four spots in the latest NAIA poll, moving from No. 25 to ranked 21 in the January 24 poll. 

For the first time since Northwestern joined the Sooner Athletic Conference in 2001-02 season, The Rangers swept Lubbock Christian University and Wayland Baptist University last week in Texas, upping the Rangers overall record to 14-6.

The Rangers are currently in third place in the SAC Conference with an 8-4 mark. They are two games away from first place Oklahoma Baptist and a half of a game back of second place Southern Nazarene.

Northwestern will play six of its final 10 games at home, beginning with a 4 p.m. game against Rogers State on Saturday, Jan. 29 at Percefull Fieldhouse. Northwestern will conduct its annual Sports Hall of Fame Induction at halftime of the men’s game.
